ProgStock Presents: New Year’s Eve 2025 Concert Extravaganza

ProgStock Presents NYE 2025

Rock your way into the New Year with a sensational evening of music and merriment at the Jersey Shore…indoors, of course! This is not just any New Year’s Eve party; it’s a fun-filled, rock-infused social gathering that’s sure to make your New Year’s Eve unforgettable.

NOTE: This is a limited seating event (75 seats), so get your tickets early!

About the Event

As the clock winds down on 2025, ProgStock invites you to our annual New Year’s Eve bash! Please come join us to hang out with old friends, and perhaps meet some new ones, at a night filled with great music, lively socializing, and a festive atmosphere that’ll have you ringing in the New Year in style.

A cash bar will be available. Soft drinks, coffee, and tea will be available at no charge, as well as our homemade food buffet. We will also collect donations for the artists/bands.

Please note: the restaurant is a seasonal business, so Google will tell you it is “temporarily closed” – we are not using the restaurant! No Fish, only Sips!

What to Expect

The amazingly talented musicians who will be performing at our event are:

We Call Them ProgStock Moments

Previously published in 2022, this answer to “Why ProgStock?” still rings true:

The three keys to our festival, in our humble opinion, are:

  • great live music (otherwise, what’s the point?)
  • the coming together of a community of people who are now more like a family, thus the ProgStock Family group, including the musicians who become part of our group and join in the fun
  • our amazing team of volunteer professionals, and paid professionals (often not paid what they deserve, which is unfortunately almost always true in the music industry) – We can’t thank these folks enough!

Something interesting you might not know about ProgStock, even if you’ve attended before: we encourage all of our musicians to stay for the entire weekend. Why?

  • To bring the musicians into the community experience. We want the musicians to become part of the group, mingle with the crowd, watch the other bands, and meet each other. Some folks call it ‘a cruise on land,’ for those familiar with the music cruise concept – everyone hanging out in one space for several days – sharing music, meals, and experiences – getting to know each other.
  • The great collaborations that result. Every year, exciting things happen at ProgStock when musicians, who have sometimes never met or worked together, struck up a conversation in advance, because they knew they were coming to ProgStock, or just started jamming in Bob Moog Foundation Plaza or backstage and Boom! new music is born.

Examples of unique ProgStock musical experiences abound:

We continue bringing new experiences to the festival to complement the performances, including special guest appearances and meet-and-greets, fine artists, and the involvement of sponsors and foundations related to music education, historical preservation, and support of independent musical artists. We could not have produced any of these without you, and for that we are eternally grateful!

Pumpkin Sculptors Return for ProgStock 2025

Pumpkin Sculpting Team - Progstock 2025

These pumpkin displays are unlike anything you’re likely see anywhere else. Each display is sculpted while you watch and is weirdly beautiful as well as whimsical. Deane Arnold is one of the most popular and influential pumpkin artists in the world. He appears as a judge on Food Network’s Outrageous Pumpkins television show, where he also works behind the camera as the pumpkin carving and photography consultant.

Deane pushes the limits of pumpkin-themed Halloween events each year. He collaborates with a variety of elite artists, and every season has seen significant leaps forward in creative innovation. His students include many Halloween Wars and Outrageous Pumpkins competitors.

Deane’s Team for ProgStock 2025

Sarah Blostein will be returning for her third ProgStock. Sarah is a Toronto-based special effects artist and the 2024 Halloween Wars All-Star Champion. Sarah is a festival favorite, and really made an impression the year she carved a pumpkin likeness of Michael Sadler.

Dmitry Klimenko will make his first ProgStock appearance. Dmitry is an internationally known sculptor who creates jaw dropping sand and ice sculptures all over the world.

Anthony Pater is a 2023 Halloween Wars veteran and animator. He first gained national attention during college, when he would leave his carved pumpkins all over the Edinboro University campus at night.

Introducing Thid and Thid’s Garden

Thid, a universal explorer from Zanthar, had a five-year assignment on Earth studying The Humans. Without a doubt, The Humans are the most fascinating, creative, and bizarre creatures Thid has ever encountered. He’s especially captivated by the countless ways they’ve invented to entertain themselves!

Thid is on a mission to recreate some of his favorite Earth experiences—through sports, playing games, and goofing off. His other great earth discoveries—music, pepperoni pizza, and marijuana—are all central to his ongoing adventures.

Thid will be sharing his love of marijuana with us at ProgStock 2025 in Thid’s Garden, an outdoor space set aside for watching Thid videos, partaking in the herb, and otherwise socializing.

Thid will also be holding a daily “Thid hunt,” where the first person to locate Thid in the theater each day will win a prize.

Learn more about Thid on his YouTube channel and subscribe to stay up-to-date on Thid’s adventures.
