All Hand Carved — Each Piece One of A Kind
Joyce Francis is a Manhattan-based artist who hand carves Lucite using twenty-five different sized dentist drills. She is self-taught. Each piece she crafts is a one-of-a-kind work of art. There are no embedded objects in any of her work.
Joyce’s purses are in the permanent collection of costume exhibits at both the Victoria Albert Museum of London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Joyce is also the winner of the prestigious Gladys Blum Award from The National Academy of Fine Arts.
