Update to Stratospheerius and Friends Album Release Party

Stratospheerius and Friends Album Release Party Update

There’s been an update to the roster for ProgStock Presents the Stratospheerius and Friends Album Release Party!

Unfortunately, Dave Bainbridge will be unable to join us. He’s stuck in England utilizing the NHS for some annual medical checkups and the appointments are dragging out a bit. Sooo…

We have wrangled another bloke from across the pond, who happens to live nearby in Philadelphia, the one-and-only Simon Godfrey, to take Dave’s place.

We are hopeful things will wrap up shortly in the UK and Dave will be back in time for our New Year’s Eve celebration. More to come on that one…

If you don’t already have a ticket, you can grab one here: https://progstock.simpletix.com

If you can’t attend this show in person, you can watch the livestream: https://www.stageit.com/progstock_presents/stratospheerius_and_friends_album_release_party/117189

Update from ProgStock Central

You may have heard that SIX by SIX had to drop out of ProgStock. We are sad to lose what promised to be a great performing band on Sunday, but we also want to wish Ian Crichton our best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery.

Ian’s injury has also affected Saturday’s headliner, SAGA, but for them the show will go on. Dusty Chesterfield will be stepping into the role as lead guitarist and Dusty’s long-time friend Mike Borkosky will join the band on bass guitar.

More recent news from SAGA has brought additional concern from our attendees and followers.  Again, wishes for a healthy recovery is our first and most important response to Michael Sadler’s announcement about his upcoming procedures in September, but we have every assurance that Michael will be back on his feet and ready to rock at ProgStock! To us, Michael is so much more than the lead singer of SAGA, he and his family are like family to us, and their wellbeing is paramount in our minds! Be well, Michael!

So What’s Next, You Might Ask…
Stepping in on Sunday, October 20, will be the supergroup Tu-Ner, featuring Trey Gunn, Pat Mastelotto, and Markus Reuter!
AND…
Joining us as a special guest for the entire festival is the AMAZING Mike Keneally!
How’s that for an update!?!

We are thrilled to announce that Tu-Ner has agreed to join us for ProgStock 2024!

Picture, if you will, a sonic tapestry woven by three extraordinary talents, brought together to create a musical journey unlike any other. Enter the realm of Tu-Ner, a new band formed by the convergence of drumming virtuoso Pat Mastelotto, touch guitar maestro Markus Reuter, and the visionary Warr guitarist Trey Gunn. Together, they craft a harmonious blend of rhythms and melodies that transcend the boundaries of genre and transport listeners to uncharted territories of audio exploration. With their collective mastery, Tu-Ner offers an auditory experience that defies expectations, taking you on an otherworldly voyage through intricate compositions and mesmerizing soundscapes. Prepare to enter a dimension of musical artistry where innovation meets transcendence. Welcome to the realm of Tu-Ner – where the boundaries of sound and imagination intertwine in perfect harmony.

Mike Keneally will be joining us all weekend, including the pre-festival event, and you just don’t know when he will appear on stage. His appearances are piling up quickly. To get the whole Keneally experience, you need to be there Thursday through Sunday! He will even be joining the Genesis tribute ABACAB – The Music of Genesis for at least one song at the pre-festival show, as well as performing in Last Call Live!
